Special Ballots will continue to be delivered by courier

Despite changes to the Canada Post labour action, courier delivery and return of special ballots for electors outside of the Yukon is unchanged. It will be maintained for the duration of the election regardless of any further changes to Canada Post delivery schedules. Applications for special ballots outside of the Yukon close on Tuesday, October 21.

For those electors who choose to vote by special ballot at their returning office or any of the other returning offices or satellite offices in the Yukon, there are no changes to processes already in place.

Note: For electors who vote in a returning office other than their district, the delivery of those special ballots will end the last week of October (dates will vary based on return delivery availability based on community schedules).

After that date, electors will be responsible to return their ballots to Elections Yukon (by mail or drop box at the Jim Smith Building) or return it to their returning office of their own electoral district before the close of polls.
