LATEST NEWS	The Yukon general election has been called for Monday 3 November, 2025. Canada Post strike continues. The Helpdesk is operational. RO offices are setting up and will be opening the next day to accept candidate nominations and special ballot applications. Special Ballots are available through online application and will be sent by courier to voters outside the territory.
ELECTION ACTIVTY	Writs issued to returning officers. Returning offices are being set up in 21 electoral districts and six satellite communities (Beaver Creek, Pelly Crossing, Carmacks, Ross River, Watson Lake and Teslin.
PLEBISCITE	Plebiscite information is available online Views of Plebiscite information video on website: 275
REGISTRATIONS	Registration opens online and at Returning Offices. Number of registered electors: 35,760 at issue of the writ.
VICs	VICs are available after 10 October 2025 once polling places are confirmed. Where Do I Vote? Information and digital Voter Information Cards will be available online after 10 October 2025. Mail out of VICs to be determined.
CANDIDATES	Close of Nomination is Tuesday 14 October 2025, at 2PM. Candidates Approved by Elections Yukon: 0 Days remaining until close of nominations: 11
ADVANCE POLLS	Open Sunday and Monday, 26 & 27 October 2025 from 8AM to 8PM. Days remaining until first day of Advance Poll: 23
SPECIAL BALLOTS	Special ballot applications close 21 October 2025 8:00 PM for mail out. Applications remain open at Returning Offices until Friday Oct 31. Days remaining to apply for special ballot: 28 Special ballots issued at Returning Offices: 0 Special ballots sent by courier: 22 Special ballot votes cast (returned): 0
POLLING DAY	Polling Day is Monday, 3 November 2025 from 8AM to 8PM. Days remaining until polling day: 31
