LATEST NEWS	Elections Yukon will present at a “Get Ready to Vote” Town Hall at Yukon University (the Pit) on Thursday, October 9, 2025, from 4 PM to 5:30 PM. Open to the public. Good interest in early voting by special ballot at returning offices. This option is available to all electors. Elections Yukon recruitment for election workers continues. Interested electors can apply online at electionsyukon.ca.
ELECTION ACTIVITY	Returning offices open today 3pm to 8 pm. Returning offices are taking registrations, issuing special ballots, conducting targeted revision, and confirming polling places.
PLEBISCITE	Plebiscite information, FAQ’s and a plebiscite voter guide are available on the website.
REGISTRATIONS	Electors can check, update, and register at electionsyukon.ca. Current number of registered electors: 35,639. Number of registered electors: 35,760 at the issue of the writ.
VICs	VICs available after October 10, 2025, once polling places are confirmed. Where Do I Vote? Information and digital Voter Information Cards will be available online after October 10, 2025. Mail out of VICs to be determined.
CANDIDATES	Close of Nomination is Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at 2PM. Candidates Approved by Elections Yukon: 17 Days remaining until close of nominations: 7
ADVANCE POLLS	Open Sunday and Monday, October 26 and 27, 2025 from 8AM to 8PM. Days remaining until first day of Advance Poll: 19
SPECIAL BALLOTS	Special ballot applications close October 21, 2025, at 8:00 PM for mail-out. Applications remain open at Returning Offices until Friday, Oct 31, 2025.
