• Close of Nominations for Candidates is Tuesday, October 14. This is a statutory change due to the Thanksgiving Day holiday. Some material released earlier by Elections Yukon erroneously indicated October 13.   
• Canada Post strike, which began on September 26, continues. New offer made by Canada Post to union on Friday.

ELECTION ACTIVITY

• Returning offices open today 11 AM – 4 PM.   Closed Sunday.
• Returning offices operating in 21 electoral districts and six satellite communities
  • (Beaver Creek, Pelly Crossing, Carmacks, Ross River, Watson Lake and Teslin.)

REGISTRATIONS

• Updated number of registered electors: 35,697. Change results from data released October 2nd. Update ongoing.
• Number of registered electors: 35,760 at issue of the writ.

VICs

• VICs available after October 10, 2025, once polling places are confirmed.
• Where Do I Vote? Information and digital Voter Information Cards will be available online after October 10, 2025. Mail out of VICs to be determined.
