As of today, the 21 electoral district boundaries, as described in the Electoral District Boundaries Act, and assented to on November 21, 2024, will be in effect for the territorial election, which can be called on or before November 3, 2025. These electoral districts were recommended by the Electoral District Boundary Commission in their report tabled in the Legislative Assembly on October 9, 2024. Until the next territorial election is called, and the Legislative Assembly dissolved, the current 19 electoral districts, and the 19 Members of the Legislative Assembly remain unchanged. When the next election is called, nominations will open for the 21 electoral districts. Maps of both the current 19 districts and the 21 electoral districts that will be in effect for the next election are available at electionsyukon.ca
