2025 List of Candidates
Date: Tuesday 14 October 2025
At the close of nominations on October 14 at 2 p.m. there were with a total of 61 candidates nominated to serve as members of the Legislative Assembly for the electoral district of their nomination. All electoral districts have at least two candidates; there are no acclamations.
The list of candidates for the 21 electoral districts is attached. Note the names are not in ballot order (pending draw results). The list is also available on this website under ‘Who is my Candidate?’ Pictures of the candidates and short biographies are indicated where provided by candidates.
Summary of nominations
There is a total of 61 candidates.
- There are 18 Yukon Liberal Party candidates.
- There are 21 Yukon New Democratic Party candidates.
- There are 21 Yukon Party candidates.
- There is 1 independent candidate.
A drawing of lots following the close of nomination by the Returning Officer of the electoral district is used to determine ballot order of candidates.
The ballots will be printed and distributed for use during in-person voting at the Advance Polls (Sunday, October 26, and Monday, October 27) and on Polling Day (Monday, November 3).

All electors can vote early by special ballot at any returning office. Applications for special ballots close at 8PM on October 31. Electors can also vote in-person at an Advance Poll (October 26 and 27) or on Polling Day (November 3).
