Check or Update your Information

If you have recently moved or changed your name, you will need to update your registration. If you've never voted in a Yukon election before, you may need to register for the first time.

1. Have your Identification Ready

To update your voter registration, you will need to upload a copy of your identification with your application. Most electors upload a photo of thier Yukon driver's license of General Identification Card. Other options are available.

Make sure that the address on your ID matches your address of residence.

2. Complete the Online Registration Application

Application to Update your Registration

The online registration application will ask for your legal name, address of residence, and date of birth. You must use your legal name that matches your ID even if you use a name other than your legal name.

More information is available for electors who use a prefered name that is different from thier legal name.

3. Your Registration is Reviewed

Once your registration has been submitted, it will be reviewed by Elections Yukon. You can check the status of your registration by calling Elections Yukon.

Registrations are processed on weekdays during normal working hours. Once your information is verified at Elections Yukon you will be added to the register and you will receive an email confirming your registration.
