NOMINATIONS CLOSE ON OCTOBER 14 FOR TERRITORIAL GENERAL ELECTION 

As of this release, there are 25 candidates approved for the Territorial General Election. The deadline for candidates to have their nomination applications approved by their district returning officer is at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, October 14. No late, incomplete, or incorrect nomination applications will be accepted as per the Elections Act. 

Candidates are strongly encouraged to complete their nomination applications as soon as possible and book a time with their district returning officer for review (revision, if necessary) and approval. Returning offices are closed to the public on Sunday, October 12 and Monday, October 13. Candidates are encouraged to visit their returning officer before Sunday or contact them to make arrangements otherwise.
