LATEST NEWS	Special ballot applications for mail-out close October 21, 2025, at 8:00 PM. They will continue to be available in returning offices. Polling locations are available online at “Where can I vote?” Candidate information is available online at “Who is my candidate?” Confirm your electoral district (new districts and changed boundaries) is available online at electionsyukon.at “Find my electoral district.”
ELECTION ACTIVITY	Returning offices are open from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM today. In-person special ballot voting continues at returning offices. Candidate briefings by returning officers are occurring. Focus on readiness for advance polls with recruiting, training, and material distribution.
PLEBISCITE	Plebiscite information, FAQs, and a plebiscite voter guide are available on the website and in returning offices.
REGISTRATIONS	Electors can check, update, and register on our website. Current number of registered electors: 35,658. Number of registered electors: 35,760 at issue of the writ
VICs	VICs are printed, and delivery is expected the week of Oct 20. Where Do I Vote? is available online.
CANDIDATES	Nominations have closed. Number of Candidates: 61
ADVANCE POLLS	Open Sunday and Monday, October 26 and 27, 2025, from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. A special Advance Poll (Territorial) will also be available in Whitehorse at the Elks Lodge for any elector. This also supports electors outside of Whitehorse who may be in Whitehorse during the Advance Poll and otherwise might not be able to vote. Days remaining until first day of Advance Poll: 8
SPECIAL BALLOTS	Early in-person special ballot voting is open to all electors at returning offices. Special ballot applications close October 21, 2025, at 8:00 PM for mail-out. Applications remain open at Returning Offices until Friday, October 31, 2025.
