LATEST NEWS	List of candidates: After the close of nominations yesterday, there are 61 candidates across the 21 electoral districts. Drawing of the Lots: Returning officers conducted a drawing of the lots to determine the order in which candidates appear on the ballots. Polling Locations: Available at electionsyukon.ca. A consolidated copy to follow.
ELECTION ACTIVITY	Returning offices are open from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM today. In-person special ballot voting continues at returning offices. Ballot order of candidates complete. Candidate briefings by returning officers over the next two days. Focus on readiness for advance polls with recruiting, training, and material distribution.
PLEBISCITE	Plebiscite information, FAQs, and a plebiscite voter guide are available on the website and in returning offices.
REGISTRATIONS	Electors can check, update, and register at electionsyukon.ca. Current number of registered electors: 35,649. Number of registered electors: 35,760 at the issue of the writ.
VICs	VICs printed and once in Whitehorse will be mailed out. Where Do I Vote? Is available online. Digital VICs to be available online next week and will be announced.
CANDIDATES	Nominations have closed. Candidates Approved by Elections Yukon: 61
ADVANCE POLLS	Open Sunday, October 26 and Monday, 27, 2025, from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Days remaining until first day of Advance Poll: 11
SPECIAL BALLOTS	Early in-person special ballot voting is open to all electors at returning offices. Special ballot applications close October 21, 2025, at 8:00 PM for mail-out. Applications remain open at Returning Offices until Friday, October 31, 2025.
