In-person voting

There are multiple in-person voting opportunities for the 2022 school board elections. Electors can vote in either election in any voting location.

 

Elections Yukon

Beginning Friday, October 28, you can vote at Elections Yukon, Monday to Friday from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm and on Monday, November 7 from 10:00 am until 8:00 pm. Polling will be in the foyer of the Jim Smith Building (formerly the Main Administration Building).

  1. You will complete and sign an oath of qualifications confirming you are an eligible elector.
  2. The Election Official will then add you to the list of electors and have you complete and sign a certificate envelope.
  3. The Election Official will issue you a ballot.
  4. You will go behind a voting screen to mark your ballot.
  5. Bring your marked ballot to the Election Official. Your ballot will be sealed in a secrecy envelope.
  6. You will seal your secrecy envelope in the certificate envelope.
  7. You will place your certificate envelope containing your ballot in the ballot box. Your vote will be counted after polls close on November 7.

 

Early voting

Nine schools in Yukon will have in-person polling available on Saturday, November 5 from 11:00 am until 4:00 pm.

  1. You will complete and sign an oath of qualifications confirming you are an eligible elector.
  2. The Election Official will add you to the list of electors and issue you a ballot.
  3. You will go behind a voting screen to mark your ballot.
  4. Bring your marked ballot to the Election Official to be placed in the ballot box. Your vote will be counted after polls close on November 7.

Polling day

Nine schools in Yukon, will have in-person polling on Monday, November 7 from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm. In-person polling will also be available at Elections Yukon from 10:00 am until 8:00 pm on polling day.

  2. The Election Official will add you to the list of electors and issue you a ballot.
  3. You will go behind a voting screen to mark your ballot.
  4. Bring your marked ballot to the Election Official to be placed in the ballot box. Your vote will be counted after polls close.
